A Nice Change for Jackson Rathbone
In a new interview with MTV, Jackson Rathbone talked all about his change from playing Jasper to his role in The Last Airbender:

"Aw, man I got to do a lot of fight scenes in Airbender," the affable Twilight star explained to us when we asked about his recently-wrapped upcoming blockbuster based on the Avatar: The Last Airbender TV cartoon show. "It was fun for me, because I grew up a little bit in Texas, and did a little Texas football. So, that little contact is good every once in a while; it kind of lets the aggression out."

New Interview with Leah Actress!
SEGN recently posted one of the first inverviews with Leah actress Julia Jones, where she discusses rumors, getting the party and more!

Here's a quick little excerpt:
"On Vanessa Hudgens rumored to be auditioning as Leah: "No. No truth to that."
Audition Process: "It wasn't too tricky. David really spent some time working on the character with me."
When she found out she got the role: "Maybe the last day of July"
On reading the books: "I got very obsessive and went through all 4 of them. In the last week and a half, I've read the first 3. I just finished Eclipse today. I think the books are incredible. Stephenie Mayer managed to capture a level of humanity, especially with Bella's character. Her inner thoughts are the similar thoughts you've ha d in similar situations but they're so deep down, ones that you sometimes don't even admit to yourself."
Starts shooting: mid-September
In the rest of the interview, Julia discusses not meeting the cast yet, and more about her fav parts of the book, how she's prepared and more. In Part 2, she goes more in-depth about her character, Breaking Dawn, filming in Vancouver, and how she is preparing for this Twilight madness. Plus, she answers fan questions! Stay tuned."

Kristen & Taylor Sing!
Awesome video of Kristen and Taylor signing!!!

"Apparently taking the pop culture world by storm in the Twilight saga is just not enough for New Moon stars Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner. Now the dynamic duo would like to infiltrate televisions biggest phenomenon as well. On the latest episode of Must List Live!, Stewart and Lautner reveal that they'd like to put their pipes to the test under the unforgiving glare of Simon Cowell on American Idol. (And don't think they won't fight back against criticism either. Just check out the boxing moves Stewart pulls on Lautner in the video below!) Should they ever make it to stage, what song would they croon? You'll have to watch the clip below to find out. And then let us know: Would you vote to keep the Twilight twosome around on Idol?"

New Dakota Fanning Article
New York Times posted an article talking about the great Dakota Fanning:

"Dakota Fanning is so self-possessed and so articulate that the only reminder you're speaking with a 15-year-old and not someone much older is her occasional tendency to giggle when she's sharing some droll aspect of her life.

Such a life. With the camera running, Fanning has been kidnapped, beaten, covered with live snakes, sexually assaulted and menaced by beings human and not. Under a less constant gaze (though there are always cameras), Fanning attends a rigorous private school in Los Angeles, is a cheerleader and wears a pair of Marni platforms "every single day. "We know this because there are photos to prove it; even though the subject is an unnervingly articulate film actress, she is also a teenage girl pleased to exercise the prerogative that states that for a period in one's life, a particular pair of shoes” or a bag or a boy, for that matter” can be perfect in every respect and should be worn (or phoned) every day.

She doesn't concern herself with privacy in the traditional sense, figuring that exposure comes with the territory. What she guards is that part of her life that is unseeable. "]You have to be able to separate your personal life from playing a character. . . . That's not your real life." Good thing; next up for her is "New Moon," the second film in the "Twilight" series, in which Fanning takes a fangs-first plunge into the darkness as Jane, a very nasty vampire who functions as a kind of vampire enforcer. She didn't bother trying to find some redeeming characteristic in Jane, she says. "She's pretty much evil," Fanning says with a laugh. "Yes, she may feel like she's just doing her job by torturing people, but that's evil."

Closer Look on Chris Weitz
Rotten Tomatoes recently had a in-depth look at New Moon director CHris Weitz!

"Coming into the project, Weitz's filmmaking pedigree was already impressive. In the span of just a decade, he's notched numerous successes under his belt, including an Oscar nomination (shared with brother Paul) for About a Boy; a hand in the successful American Pie franchise; and most recently, the honor of bringing Philip Pullman's enormously weighty His Dark Materials novels to the big screen, in the form of 2007's The Golden Compass. But our earliest familiarity with Weitz himself was as an actor in the darkly comic indie, Chuck & Buck, where he starred opposite Mike White's obsessive man-child as Charlie (formerly known as Chuck), a yuppie record exec trying to put his past (and his childhood buddy, Buck) behind him.

Melissa Rosenberg on working with Weitz, who she called a "lovely guy": "Chris is a writer himself, so I did one or two drafts with him, and was really able to trust him to take it from there, to make any changes that might need to be made for production or for whatever reason."

Taylor Lautner on Weitz: "What I love about Chris is, the set is very calm and we're just having a lot of fun making the movie. And then you sit back and you look at the results that are happening, and it looks amazing so far. I'm so excited to see it. And you just sit back and see what's going on, and you're like, 'How are we having such an easygoing, relaxed time making this movie, and it's turning out the way it is?' At the same time, the conversations with Catherine -- she just related to us so well. So does Chris. They're both talented directors, and I'm thankful that I had the opportunity to work with both of them."

Rachelle Lefevre on Weitz: "Chris is much quieter and calmer anyway, he just has a different style, but also he's come into a world that somebody went through all of that to bring to life. And so I feel like part of the reason he came in maybe a little more quiet was just sort of respect the fact that he didn't just show up and go, 'All right guys. It's Chris Weitz's Twilight now.' He didn't do that at all. He completely respected that somebody else had laid the foundation and he was like, all right, here's where I'm going to take it within the realm of what's already been established. And so it's a different job, you know? It's something that he's executing beautifully because we all really feel both directed and respected in terms of what we've already done. We love him."

Stephenie Meyer Discusses Summer Vacation
Twilight author Stephenie Meyer recently updated her website to discuss her summer vacation.

"Hey everybody! I hope you all had a great summer. I'm sorry I don't update more, but it's crazy how busy you can be without really having anything to update about. I decided to do an end of the summer recap like I did last year—just the books and music and movies I enjoyed most. I love to share good stuff.

First books. I didn't have a ton of time to read this summer, but I did discover one really wonderful two-book series. Dreamhunter and Dreamquake by Elizabeth Knox. It is like nothing else I've ever read. The characters are so real, you'll feel like you know exactly what they look like and how their voices sound and what they would say or do in any given situation. More than that, you'll want to hang out with them. Then the world is so amazing and unique. You will want to go there. You will want to walk into "the Place." And you will want to sleep in a dream opera.

I also got an early look at a book I've been eagerly awaiting: Catching Fire, the sequel to Suzanne Collins' phenomenal The Hunger Games. It not only lived up to my high expectations, it surpassed them. It's just as exciting as The Hunger Games, but even more gut wrenching, because you already know these characters, you've already suffered with them. Suzanne takes the story places I wasn't expecting, and she's never afraid to take it to very hard places. Stunning. You won't sleep when you're reading this one. It hits shelves September 1st. I suggest beginning in the early morning and clearing your calendar for the day."
